Our firm has earned a reputation as a strong advocate in the area of family law due, in large part, to the experience of founder Michele Bononi. In 1991, Ms. Bononi was appointed Chief Child Support Advocate in Westmoreland County, where she represented children in abuse and divorce proceedings, as well as juveniles in criminal proceedings. She vigorously prosecuted child custody and support cases and established paternity for children born out of wedlock.
In 1996, Ms. Bononi was appointed the first Hearing Officer for Westmoreland County's Domestic Relations Office. As a Hearing Officer, she has presided over more than 3,000 cases involving child custody, support, equitable distribution, protection from abuse and juvenile justice. Of theses cases, 97% have been resolved.
