ADVERTORIAL
A Family-Oriented Law and Accounting Firm
The legal profession is experiencing unprecedented growth in the practice of family law, particularly when it involves such issues as child support, domestic violence, abuse, divorce and paternity. The often-complex accounting and tax ramifications inherent in these cases are also critical to their resolution.
Bononi & Bononi, P.C., of Greensburg, PA, is a unique professional firm that provides its clients the full spectrum of both legal and accounting services.
Founded by Attorneys Eric and Michele Bononi in 1987, Bononi & Bononi has developed a reputation as a firm with a family orientation, due primarily to the founding partners' extensive experience in family law and related accounting issues.
Eric, who holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctorate degree from Ohio Northern University, practices in the areas of tax law, estate planning, corporate law, real estate law and civil litigation as well as providing a full range of tax and accounting services. Eric began his career working for his uncle's accounting firm in Greensburg, James J. Bononi, CPA. It was there that he honed his skills in the tax and accounting issues among families and businesses in the area. When he joined with wife Michele, a well-know courtroom advocate of family rights and support to form Bononi & Bononi, a firm committed to family practice was created.
Michele G. Bononi has been a practicing courtroom attorney for more than 14 years and is currently serving the Court as a Domestic Relations Hearing Officer. She has heard more than 3,000 cases in this capacity and 97 percent of her cases have been resolved. She has also served as Child Support Advocate Attorney prosecuting child support cases. Most recently, Pennsylvania Governor Mark Schweiker nominated Michele for the appointment as Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Westmoreland County, the first woman ever to be nominated for the position.
In addition to her extensive courtroom experience, Michele advocates family rights through lectures for various associations. She has also lectured for the Westmoreland Bar Association on the continuation of legal education programs for support and paternity. She has lectured on support issues during the annual Domestic Relations Association of Pennsylvania, for nonprofit family service agencies, colleges, schools of Family Law, women in the law, and various other civic organizations. Bononi & Bononi, with a staff of paralegals, CPA's and accountants, brings expertise to bear upon families struggling with complicated legal problems relating to elder care, estates, divorce, custody, child support or tax issues. Eric and Michele like to point out that they are not just attorneys, but that they are a family as well.
"We believe in the value of relationships. We view every client relationship like a partnership, and truly believe that our success is a result of your success," said Michele Bononi. "We appreciate your business and we will strive to provide you with the best possible service," she added. "We are committed to providing close, personal attention to our clients," Eric Bononi said. "We take pride in giving you the assurance that the personal assistance you receive comes from years of advanced training, technical experience and financial acumen. Our continual investment of time and resources in professional continuing education, state-of-the-art computer technology and extensive business relationships is indicative of our commitment to excellence."
